This results in balanced fluidics, a stable eye and a safer phaco procedure. For Venturi Systems VSS incorporated in the aspiration line and adjacent to the handpiece regulates fluid flow out of the eye. As vacuum increases, VSS constricts, thereby limiting fluid outflow and maintaining a deep and stable anterior chamber.
